Meet United Arts’ New Volunteer Leadership

New board officers at United Arts of Central Florida include Lindsay Abt, chair; John Ruffier, vice chair; Craig Collin, secretary; and Marcellene “Marci” Baugh, treasurer. UA also welcomed several new executive committee officers and board members.

Central Florida’s vibrant arts and culture scene is what makes our community come alive. It brings people together, sparks creativity and fuels our local economy. At United Arts of Central Florida, we believe that a thriving arts community benefits everyone—and with strong volunteer leadership, we can do even more to strengthen our region.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new officers, board members and executive committee members who will help us continue to champion the arts across Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.

Together, we’re ready to make good on our promise to create a thriving arts community that fuels lasting prosperity, creativity and well-being for all. So please meet our new officers:

  • CHAIR, Lindsay Abt, who is a partner, Ernst & Young LLP. Lindsay has more than 20 years of experience in providing assurance and advisory services to a wide array of clients in varying industries.

  • VICE CHAIR: John Ruffier, who is a shareholder and chair, real estate department, Lowndes. John, a native of Orlando, focuses his legal practice on real estate and finance.

  • TREASURER: Marcellene “Marci” Baugh, who is vice president of finance and accounting, Massey Services Inc. Marci manages annual revenue of more than $200 million for the landscape and pest-control company.

  • SECRETARY: Craig Collin, who is president and chief operating officer, Tavistock Development Company. Craig leads overall strategy and operations for developments throughout the company’s portfolio.

New leaders on the executive committee include Development Chair Danielle Permenter, who is chief development officer, Orlando Economic Partnership; Personnel Committee Chair Jessica Mund, who is senior director, staff and cultural development, Full Sail University; and Community Investment Chair Sharon Arroyo, who is vice president of government and community relations, Duke Energy.

New board members include Ashton M. Bligh, who is a shareholder, Greenberg Traurig LLP; Andrew J. Snyder, who is senior vice president, marketing and communications, Orlando Health; Betsy Gwinn, who is principal, BG Impact; and Reginald Parks, who is principal and chief marketing officer, RMG (Reality Marketing Group).

Lastly, we want to thank departing board members Tanisha Nunn Gary, George Ralls, Mafrene Lisboa, Phillip Laws and Brian Mills for their significant contributions to the success of United Arts.
